IELSM Launches International Academic Certification Program in International Entrepreneurship

On May 16, IELSM officially launched its International Academic Certification Program, “Catalizador Consultor in International Entrepreneurship”, marking an important milestone in the development of our global academic and professional training initiatives.

The first cohort of the program is composed of 25 participants from various Latin American countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. The group notably includes distinguished academics such as the Executive Director of the Association of Universities of Peru, Prof. Ada Gallegos, as well as the Academic Vice-Rector of the National University of Folklore “José María Aruedas,” Prof. Doris Renata Teodori. This diversity reflects the growing regional interest in strengthening capacities in entrepreneurship and innovation within international contexts.

The program began with a keynote lecture focused on the vision of international ecosystems, highlighting IELSM itself as a case study. The session emphasized the importance of ecosystem development and the role of IELSM in fostering collaboration between academia and the business sector through strategic guidance, capacity building, and the co-design of competitive strategies.

Throughout the program, particular attention is given to the integration of academic knowledge and practical application, enabling participants to actively engage with tools and frameworks that support entrepreneurial decision-making and organizational development.

The certification will run for approximately eight weeks and will conclude with the presentation of business models developed by the participants, based on the combination of theoretical foundations and practical application during the program.

With this initiative, IELSM continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting academic excellence and entrepreneurial capacity-building, while fostering international collaboration and impactful engagement between universities, professionals, and innovation ecosystems.
